The temp was 72 degrees. I couldn't wait to get out of work. Should I run longer than my planned 4 miler? Since the weather was so nice? I decided to stick with the original plan, and just run my normal 4 mile "round the block" from t he gym backward. This means the 1/2 mile hill is in the first 1/4 mile, but I walked around for awhile so my shins wouldn't complain.
The hill workout was the best part of the run! My quads were cooked. They were stiff, complaining about running downhill. They weren't too fun of the flats either. (The uphills they were fine with.) With the weather being so freakishly warm, it was kind of a tough run. Going from 40's and 50's to the 70's is just weird!!
I did get back to the gym and got a good stretching session in. At first I couldn't even lower myself to the floor, After 15 minutes of good stretching, I felt almost back to my own flexible self.

it's amazing what a good stretch will do for you!
No worries we'll be back below 40 before you know it ;)
Cool weather to keep us cold.
Way to bounce back from your FA over the weekend! And the cold weather is back as you can see!
First of, I liked the picture of you sleeveless and on the snowy trails:) Secondly, thanks for the link to the blog header thing (and other stuff) - may be I'll collect myself and change to beta (will I loose all my stuff from now?). And importantly, the story of your friend who is coming to a healthy weght by doing the only thing that works - is awesome! tell him hi, and keep inspiring, Kim!
