Anyways, where was I?? I think I had just gotten done admitting maybe my thyroid is actually playing a part in my slowness to lose weight. I'm going to make sure I take my medicine as prescribed (first thing in am, on empty stomach, with full glass of water) for maximum absorption. I'm going to avoid eating large quantities of goitrogenic foods.
I cancelled my WW Online subscription yesterday. Now, WW is a very good program. I lost 75 lbs on it. But I don't think the points counting is doing it for me. I think I need to go to the "calories in, calories out" step.
Which brings me to SparkPeople. This is a free website with nutrition and fitness tracking; recipes, motivational and wellness articles, member blogs, etc etc. It's a huge website so it's been time well spent reading. I'm going to track my nutrition and workouts on this site.
