I mean, if there really was a magic pill then we'd ALL be thin. No one wants to put forth the effort and hard work and it's really a shame...escpecially for the kids of today.Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222912722688901288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26786877.post-33650513938084551462007-06-25T01:42:00.000-04:002007-06-25T01:42:00.000-04:00it is scary. just like you said, they dont care....it is scary. just like you said, they dont care. or possibly they do care, they dont wanna be over weight, but they dont care enough to actually do something about it.<BR/>I live in the south, and down here everything is fried, from tomatoes, okra, corn.... yep, at my work they even started battering and frying up corn. what's next, fried water. Just wait, someone will figure out how to do it and we'll have fried water. heck, they already found out how to fry coke (another southerner):Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13361989977318370854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26786877.post-12234253789793572372007-06-23T16:47:00.000-04:002007-06-23T16:47:00.000-04:00LOL! I just finished putting away about $200 of W...LOL! I just finished putting away about $200 of Wal Mart groceries myself! Yikes...obesity is alive and well in Akron--that's for sure. Seems like so many people just don't get it. Some people think I do all this running and eating well to just look good in pair of jeans! It's so much more than that. I feel better. I'm almost 43 years old and I'm not on any meds for diabetes or high blood pressure. I got carded again at Wal Mart! It's not that I have a baby face either...cause I don't, but I don't think people are used to seeing fit 40 something year olds. That Alli stuff sounds horrifying. There are no magic fixes...sensible eating, portion control and exercise. Glad to see you're out and about! I'm getting ready for another 16 mile running of the Buckeye Trail 50K course--not nearly as scared as I was last week. How's your cold?Soapin' Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04319945263299559871noreply@blogger.com
